David

David was born with NF1 in 1973. His mother said that she knew he had Neurofibromatosis at birth.. At that time they thought that it could only be passed through the mother, however his father had NF1. David's sister and brother both have NF, as well as his oldest nephew.  David's family has been involved with NF, Inc, Mid-Atlantic since 1979.

David works for a company that does patient satisfaction surveys for hospitals and doctor's offices. That is his way of improving the quality of healthcare.

David serves as Secretary of the Board of NF Mid-Atlantic .
