Ms. Bark’s main focus will be raising funds, public awareness and peer counseling. Ms. Bark is the owner of DNB Financial Services, a financial advisory company in Baltimore, MD.
Lee Herman
Board of Directors, 2012-2014
Lee is the proprietor of Palace Florist in Washington DC. He is also the organizer of a dedicated fundraiser for NF Mid-Atlantic known as “Petals for a Cause”. Lee is a dedicated marathoner who collects money for NF Mid-Atlantic for neurofibromatosis research in honor of his daughter Julia.
Aaron Jumani
Vice-President, Board of Directors
Aaron Jumani provides NF Mid-Atlantic with over 15 years of IT expertise--primarily in healthcare. A British native, he has worked in 7 countries and speaks 3 languages fluently.. Aaron has now dedicated his spare time to ensuring and building an online community to connect people with NF in the Mid-Atlantic region. He lives with his darling wife Saara who has NF1 in Philadelphia.
Megan Leaf
Board of Directors, 2012-2014
Ms. Leaf has NF1. She earned her BS in human development and her MA in education and is a teacher’s aide at Roland Park Elementary Middle School in Baltimore, MD.
Steve Lorberbaum
Steve Lorberbaum is a senior operations consultant and attorney in the Washington DC metro area. Steve is active in a number of causes supporting NF awareness and research on behalf of his daughter, who has NF 1.
Jeff Robertson
Board of Directors, 2012-2014
Jeff Robertson is a civil engineer. He organizes and coordinates an annual charity golf tournament benefitting the Julie Ann Robertson Cashour Memorial Fund, named for Jeff’s sister, Julie, who passed away in 2000 from a brain tumor resulting from NF.
